A Poet's Haven

As we lay amidst our now untwisted sheets
serried together as one drawing
warmth and peace from each other
I can not help but wander through
the pleasures of our night
the long and passionate embrace
that followed as our kissed erupted
into our long running duel
Interrupted briefly as we slipped
into the shower to wash away
our spilt ambrosia’s
And yet our ambrosia’s flowed
amidst the flow of warmth flowing
over our bodies.
My body still shivers from your kiss
as I slid deep within
As we lay here serried together
you at peace your head upon my chest
I find a peace within for I am blessed
with you at my side and there is
no other one but you
