A Poet's Haven

His name is Teddy Freddy for those who
do not know.
He comes alive on Christmas Eve for
those who do not know.
Teddy Freddy is one of Santa’s Helper for
those who do not know.
I bet you thought that all of Santa’s Helpers
were Elves.
Well sit right back while I tell you the story
of how Teddy Freddy came to be
one of Santa’s Helpers.
Long ago when I was just a wee lad
everyone had a fireplace and Santa could
come and go with just the touch of his nose.
But that was then, and this now and with
every passing day are climate gets warmer
are Oceans still are rising and all
because of pollution.
Why did you know that the Reindeers
are losing their homes as well.
So Santa needed help getting in and out
of all the little children’s homes.
Well from what I have been told it wise old
Mrs. Claus who came up with the idea
of using The Magic Of Christmas to bring to
life all of the Teddy Bears world wide.
And with the touch of Her nose, that’s right
with the touch of Her nose she brings
all of the Teddy Bears to life.
And so you see that’s how Santa Claus
is able to get in and out of so many
Homes on Christmas Eve.
Now maybe your Teddy Bear has a different
name my grandson Samuel Lee named his
Teddy Freddy.
And Mrs. Claus knows the name of every
Teddy Bear world wide.
And with the touch of her nose and with a
simply Christmas Prayer
they all come to life.
And then they go back to sleep on
Christmas Morning.
