A Poet's Haven

Having darted through a late Winter deluge
which left her dripping.
She began to disrobe when the door opened.
As their eyes crossed, their hearts skipped beats.
As their souls listened for their passions song.
They were left speechless.
Neither knowing how the other felt at that moment.
Each looking for the other to make their move.
