A Poet's Haven

from the first time we chatted online…
it was apparent we were bound together…
that unspoken universal law concerning souls…
the one that states…
only two souls can share the same frequency…
oh we had our share of disagreements…
periods where we stopped speaking…
stopped chatting…
went our separate ways…
yet…
you see not everyone…
is allowed to look into her windows…
for she hid them well…
one does not use their eyes to feel frequencies…
hearts can be captured…
held prisoner…
mislead and deceived…
yet…
theirs was an unspoken language between souls…
a musical score…
only they can hear…
only they can feel…
only they know the lyrics…
it’s their duet…
