” Imploded “

They were two ships passing through an uncharted ocean.
Masks hid their smiles as only their eyes could speak.
They spoke in an ancient dialect, one of few words.
One such word, could only translate as seduction.
As ladies and gents in a crowd, can only open their souls.
Another such word could only translate as desire.
In a world where distancing has become the new norm.
The art of touching draws upon a memory of what one felt.
Then there is a word that could only be passion.
Not as a wave that gently caresses the shore.
Only as a pounding surf between souls in stolen moments.
When those three words, each having been repressed.
Imploded..
