at tender age I heard
of thy son

from the depth of sin
I learned of thee

from the scrolls of man
they have wrote of thee

from the scrolls of man
they have read of thee

from the scrolls of man
they fought for thee

from the scrolls of man
they have fought
over thee

from thy laws they have
learned they have no
need of thee

from thy laws they have
learned they need not
believe in thee for thy
laws to work

for many years I
have sought you

I sought to learn of thee

I sought to prove of thee

I sought to establish
thy presences

I learned that they
know of thee

I learned they know
of thy promise
I learned that they know
you would not destroy
them for the evil they
do under the Sun

I learned that they do not
care for thy Laws work
for Saint or Sinner and
they love thee naught
