Spanish moss dances
in the gentle breeze
a single palm frond
trembles in it’s
rhythm
the cool autumn
breeze caresses
the tree tops
as a leaf falls
a dragonfly hovers
fighting the gentle
breeze
dew drips from
here and there
sparkling droplets
on swaying leaves
like pixies dancing
in the golden rays
as a leaf falls
butterflies swaying
their colorful wings
flashing in the
flickering light
fading blooms
moving to
a rhythm
blues and purples
awash in the
breeze
a hawk leaves his
heavenly perch
adorned in all
the colors of
autumn
calling to his lover
dancing aloft to
his beautiful song
as a leaf falls
